Malayalam films that achieved commercial success in their original language continue to resonate with Telugu audiences, receiving strong support and acclaim in the Telugu-speaking states. Previously, films such as Premalu and Manjummel Boys found considerable success both in Malayalam and in their Telugu-dubbed versions.
In the same trend, another Malayalam film is now poised to release for Telugu audiences. Titled Alappuzha Gymkhana, the film features Premalu fame Naslen in the lead role. This sports-themed movie was jointly produced by Jabin George, Sameer Karrat, and Subheesh Kannanchery, and directed by Khalid Rahman.
Alappuzha Gymkhana was well-received in Malayalam and garnered positive response upon its original release. Alongside Naslen, the film stars Lukman Avaran, Ganapathi, Baby Jean, Sandeep Pradeep, Franco Francis, and Shiva Hariharan in key roles. The music for the film was composed by Vishnu Vijay.
The film is now being brought to Telugu audiences under the title Gymkhana. An official announcement through a poster has confirmed that the Telugu version will be released on the 25th of this month.
