Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the well-known director known for dark narratives, is getting ready to work on his next big film, Spirit, with Prabhas. Ever since Animal proved to be a huge hit, Vanga has completed writing the script for Spirit and has now turned his attention towards casting. The fans are eagerly waiting to hear about this high-octane action thriller.
Casting and Production Updates
The movie has been on pre-production mode for nearly a year now, and with the script finalized, casting has begun. Prabhas is learnt to have approached a leading Tollywood actor to play one of the villains in the film. The lead heroine has not been announced yet, which adds to the hype for the project.
Shooting Schedule and Locations
Prabhas is reported to have devoted seven months for Spirit on a back-to-back shooting schedule. The film would begin shooting in the second week of June 2025. The bulk of the shoot will be in Thailand and Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, to allow for a greater visual treat.
Music and Technical Aspects
Harshavardhan Rameshwar, the music composer of the film, has announced that 70% of the background score has already been locked. The music will be played live during the shoot to boost the performances of the actors, a method that lends depth to the narrative.
Prabhas’ Other Commitments
Before stepping into Spirit, Prabhas has two more films to complete. Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, is a horror thriller wherein Prabhas has a double role. The film is close to completion with a few weeks of shoot still to be completed. Also, Fauji, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, got pushed back due to Prabhas’ injury in the knee. Now, he will restart the shoot since he has already recovered.
