Andhra Pradesh Police have issued lookout notices against Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Member of Parliament Mithun Reddy in connection with the liquor scam case. Authorities have listed Mithun Reddy as Accused No. 4 (A4) in the ongoing investigation.
The lookout notices were issued as a precautionary measure to prevent Mithun Reddy from leaving the country. According to the notices, he must obtain prior permission to travel abroad.
Mithun Reddy had filed a petition seeking anticipatory bail in the case. However, the Andhra Pradesh High Court rejected his plea. The court dismissed the petition and delivered its judgment yesterday.
In response to this development, and as part of preventive action, the police issued lookout notices against Mithun Reddy to ensure his presence in the country during the legal proceedings.
