A leopard sighting has once again caused a stir on the Tirumala Ghat Road, leading to severe anxiety among devotees and locals. The leopard was caught on CCTV cameras patrolling the Second Ghat Road, specifically on the Kusuma Road between the Alipiri Checkpoint and the Vinayaka Swamy Temple. Devotees traveling along the route were terrified upon seeing the wild animal.
Immediately upon receiving the information, officials from TTD Vigilance and the Forest Department were alerted and swiftly implemented security measures to prevent any untoward incidents. Due to previous leopard sightings on the walking paths and ghat roads, the TTD had already been enforcing strict safety protocols for devotees.
Authorities have advised devotees to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions, specifically urging them not to travel alone during the night. TTD and Forest Department officials are continuously monitoring the area, maintaining strict surveillance over the movement of wild animals.
