Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his wife, Heritage Foods MD Nara Bhuvaneswari, are scheduled to depart for London, UK, on Saturday night for a personal visit. During the trip, Bhuvaneswari will receive two prestigious awards at a Global Convention organized by the Institute of Directors (IOD) on November 4th. She has been selected for the ‘Distinguished Fellowship-2025’ award in recognition of her contributions to public service and social empowerment through the NTR Trust.
Nara Bhuvaneswari will also accept the ‘Golden Peacock’ Award for ‘Excellence in Corporate Governance,’ which was bestowed upon Heritage Foods where she serves as MD. This recognition honours the company’s commitment to transparent governance, quality standards, and social responsibility in the FMCG sector. The ‘Distinguished Fellowship’ award places her among esteemed past recipients, including former Indian President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and industrialists like Gopichand Hinduja and Rajashree Birla.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu intends to utilize the visit beyond the awards ceremony for the benefit of the state. He is scheduled to meet with several industrialists and Non-Resident Andhras (NRAs), primarily to invite them to the CII Partnership Summit set to take place in Visakhapatnam on November 14th and 15th. The Chief Minister and his wife are expected to conclude their trip and return to the state on November 6th.
