Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, speaking at the ‘Praja Palana – Praja Vijayotsavam’ public meeting in Makthal, issued a stern warning to contractors and officials regarding the Makthal–Narayanpet-Kodangal project. He declared that if the project is not completed within two years, the officials and contractors will face severe consequences. The CM accused the previous BRS government of neglecting the Palamuru district and failing to complete lift irrigation schemes, stating that the people have proven that the Palamuru region will support only those who work for its welfare.
Massive Development Projects and Global Economic Vision
Marking the government’s one-year completion, the CM laid the foundation stone for various development projects worth ₹270 crore in the Makthal constituency. Key projects include a high-level bridge near the Priyadarshini Jurala Project, a 50-bed Community Health Center in Atmakur, and road expansion works. The CM also outlined his vision for the state, announcing the ‘Telangana Rising Global Summit’ on December 8-9 to attract investment and declaring the goal of transforming Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047.
Focus on Welfare and Political Appeal
CM Revanth Reddy highlighted the welfare schemes implemented, such as free bus travel for women, 200 units of free electricity, and debt waivers for farmers. He mentioned allocating ₹1.04 lakh crore towards farmers over two years. The CM challenged the BRS and BJP to produce a vision document for Hyderabad’s development. Concluding his speech with an appeal to local voters during the Panchayat elections, he asked the people to elect good leaders, assuring them: “The responsibility of providing funds is mine, and the responsibility of providing water is mine.”
