Ram Charan Clarifies ‘Peddi’ Release Date Amid Postponement Rumors

Release Date Confirmed: Addressing recent rumors of a possible delay, Mega Power Star Ram Charan clarified in a recent interview that his pan-India film Peddi will hit theaters as planned on March 27, 2026. Despite talk that post-production and promotional schedules might be too tight following the Sankranti break, Charan assured fans that the team is committed to the original date. He expressed excitement about his role, stating it is a “never-before-seen” character for him, effectively ending the uncertainty surrounding the project’s timeline.

Next Shooting Schedule and Production Update: The makers of Peddi have also provided a fresh update regarding the filming schedule. Taking to social media, the team shared photos of Ram Charan preparing for the upcoming shoot, noting that he is heading into the next schedule with “full enthusiasm.” Currently directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is moving at a brisk pace to wrap up the remaining thirty days of work. This update has not only reassured fans but has also led to speculation about whether Nani’s The Paradise, currently slated for March 26, might shift its date to avoid a clash with the big-budget entertainer.

Star-Studded Cast and Musical Score: Peddi features a stellar ensemble cast, with Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead opposite Ram Charan. The film also stars Kannada legend Shivarajkumar, Bollywood actor Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, and Satya in pivotal roles. With a musical score by Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman, the film is being produced on a massive scale under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner. Fans are now eagerly awaiting the release of the second single, which is expected to be unveiled by the makers very shortly.
