Breaking traditional protocol, the Chief Minister surprised party members by sitting among the attendees rather than on a high-profile stage. The workshop, designed to train members of 25 Parliament Committees, hosted approximately 1,050 delegates from across the state. By sitting on the floor or standard seating alongside district leaders and workers, Naidu reinforced his long-standing mantra that “the worker is the real boss of the party,” a gesture that senior leaders described as deeply inspiring and humble.
The training session was inaugurated by TDP General Secretary and Minister Nara Lokesh, who spent several hours personally welcoming members and interacting with them. The curriculum for the day focused on:
-
Party Ideology: Revisiting the core principles established by founder N.T. Rama Rao.
-
Government Schemes: Educating the cadre on the NDA government’s welfare programs and development vision.
-
Cadre Management: Training in effective organizational strategies and leadership qualities at the grassroots level.
-
Vision Plan: Briefing members on the state’s comprehensive development roadmap.
During his address, Naidu emphasized that while he serves as the Chief Minister for the fourth time, within the Telugu Desam Party, he remains a dedicated worker first. He urged the 1,050 attendees to act as a bridge between the government and the public, ensuring that the fruits of developmental projects reach every household. Senior leader Prathipati Pulla Rao and AP TDP Chief Palla Srinivasa Rao were also present, noting that this “grassroots immersion” by the top leadership has significantly boosted the morale of the party cadre ahead of upcoming political cycles.
