Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy launched a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for alleging that the BJP is shielding former CM KCR and his family. Addressing a press conference at the BJP state office in Nampalli, Kishan Reddy dismissed the claims as a sign of the Chief Minister’s “incapacity.” He questioned who was stopping the state government from taking action, pointing out that since the Congress is in power in Telangana, the authority to investigate and arrest rests solely with the Chief Minister.
Kishan Reddy accused Revanth Reddy of using the BJP and the Central Government as scapegoats to hide his own administrative failures. He challenged the Chief Minister to name the specific individuals or entities allegedly preventing these arrests. “You cannot escape your responsibilities by repeatedly taking my name or the Center’s name,” he stated, adding that the people of Telangana are observant of these political tactics.
The Union Minister further alleged a secret understanding between the Sonia Gandhi family and the KCR family, claiming they have united solely to oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He pointedly asked if Rahul Gandhi had ever questioned the Chief Minister regarding the delay in taking action against the BRS leadership. Concluding his remarks, he urged citizens to reject both the BRS and Congress in the upcoming municipal elections, characterizing them as two sides of the same coin.
