Harish Rao’s Aggressive Campaign: “A Vote for the Car Should Be a Blow to Revanth Reddy”

Serious Allegations Over Forensic Lab Fire

During the final day of the municipal election campaign in Medak, former minister and BRS leader T. Harish Rao launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Rao alleged that the recent fire at the Hyderabad Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) was not an accident but a deliberate act directed by the CM to destroy evidence. He claimed that Revanth Reddy orchestrated the blaze to wipe out crucial records related to the “Cash-for-Vote” case, fearing an imminent jail sentence as the legal proceedings reach a critical stage.

Promises Betrayed: Farmers and Minorities

Rao criticized the Congress government’s two-and-a-half-year tenure as a “total zero,” accusing the Chief Minister of betraying every section of society. He highlighted the failure to implement the loan waiver and Rytu Bandhu schemes, leading to a crisis for farmers. Furthermore, he noted that the government had failed to deliver on promises made to minorities, such as the Ramzan Tofa and Shadi Mubarak gold benefits, contrasting this with KCR’s record of building Gurukulams and maintaining secularism.

The Call to Action for Voters

Urging the electorate to vote for the “Car” symbol (BRS) on February 12, Harish Rao stated that the vote should serve as a strong message against the “petty threats” and “vulgar language” of the current administration. He dismissed the BJP and Congress as ineffective choices, asserting that only BRS would fight for the people’s rights and ensure the release of pending bills and funds for local development. Rao concluded by stating that Revanth Reddy’s “theatrics” would not feed the poor and that the public has finally realized the difference between “real and fake” leadership.
