Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to visit Delhi this Thursday along with TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud and several senior ministers. The visit follows an urgent call from the Congress high command and is primarily intended to submit a detailed report on the party’s performance in the recently concluded municipal elections. The Chief Minister is scheduled to meet AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and K.C. Venugopal to discuss the next steps for local body polls, including Zilla Parishad and Mandal Parishad elections.
Beyond election reviews, the high command is expected to provide direction on long-pending organizational and administrative matters. Speculation is rife in political circles that a “sealed cover” regarding cabinet expansion or reshuffling might be cleared during this visit. Furthermore, the leadership will likely discuss the second list of nominated posts, with an emphasis on rewarding party workers who contributed significantly to the Congress victory in the municipal polls.
On the administrative front, CM Revanth Reddy will also attend the AI Impact Summit 2026 being held in the capital. He is expected to meet various Union Ministers to seek central assistance for critical state projects, including the Musi River Rejuvenation, Metro Rail expansion, and fund releases for infrastructure. This multi-purpose trip highlights the Chief Minister’s dual focus on strengthening party ties at the center while securing developmental resources for Telangana.
