Viveka Murder Case: CBI Intensifies Investigation in Pulivendula; Key Suspects Questioned Over Call Data

CBI Operations in Pulivendula:

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has accelerated its probe following concerns raised by Sunitha Reddy, the daughter of the deceased leader, in the Supreme Court. On Friday, February 27, 2026, CBI officials traveled directly to Pulivendula to conduct interrogations. This move came after suspects Kiran Kumar Yadav (brother of A2 Sunil Yadav) and Gorla Mahendra Yadav failed to appear at the CBI office in Hyderabad. The duo was questioned for several hours at the local Pulivendula police station.

Focus on Call Records and Connections:

The primary focus of the recent interrogation, led by CBI officer Rohit Yadav, was the analysis of call data records. Investigators questioned Kiran Kumar Yadav extensively regarding his telephonic interactions and relationship with Arjun Reddy. This line of inquiry stems from specific requests made in the Supreme Court to investigate the call logs and potential involvement of these individuals. Mahendra Yadav was also grilled for two hours before being allowed to leave.

Claims of Threat to Life:

Following the interrogation, Kiran Kumar Yadav spoke to the media, stating that he had cooperated fully and answered all questions related to his call history. However, he made a sensational claim, alleging that there is a significant “threat to his life.” As the investigation moves into this critical phase with direct court oversight, analysts believe the current findings regarding call data analysis could significantly influence the final direction of this long-standing case.
