Dhurandhar: The Revenge: Technical Glitch Delays Malayalam and Kannada Premieres; Hindi and Telugu Shows Proceed as Scheduled

Director Aditya Dhar took to social media to inform the “Dhurandhar family” that while the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions of the film are premiering as planned, the Malayalam and Kannada shows have been pushed to Thursday morning. In a heartfelt note, Dhar explained that the team wanted every fan to experience the film in their preferred language simultaneously, but technical issues forced a change in the rollout. Hindi shows across India commenced at 5 pm, while Tamil and Telugu screenings are set to begin from 9 pm tonight.

To accommodate disappointed fans, the production team has offered flexible solutions for those holding tickets for the delayed shows. Moviegoers can either opt for a full refund or choose to watch the Hindi version of the film with subtitles at their respective cinemas. The makers expressed their sincere apologies for the inconvenience, emphasizing that the love and support from the audience mean the world to them as they navigate this minor hurdle on the film’s opening day.

In addition to the scheduling update, Aditya Dhar made an earnest plea to early viewers regarding the film’s plot. He requested fans to strictly refrain from sharing spoilers on social media, urging everyone to let fellow fans enter the theater “clueless but curious.” By keeping the story’s twists under wraps, the director hopes each viewer can walk out with their own “deeply personal version” of the cinematic experience. Despite the regional delay, the buzz surrounding the film remains exceptionally high across all markets.
