“Fighting Criminals is a New Experience for Me”: CM Chandrababu Naidu Warns TDP Cadre

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu made striking remarks during a training session for the party’s cluster in-charges, stating that while he has fought numerous political battles in his long career, dealing with and fighting against criminals is an entirely new experience for him. Speaking at the ‘Coffee Kaburlu’ program held at the TDP central office, he strongly labeled the opposition YSRCP as a “killer party” and urged his party workers to constantly study their mindset to effectively counter their anarchic political tactics.

Naidu highlighted recent criminal incidents to substantiate his claims, specifically pointing to the murder of Dastagiri in Kadapa and the controversy surrounding MLC Ananthababu. He alleged that YSRCP leaders were involved in the murder of their own party worker due to disputes over government land distributions. He warned the TDP cadre to remain extremely vigilant, accusing the YSRCP of a disturbing pattern where they eliminate their own people and attempt to shift the blame onto the ruling party, while also intimidating witnesses, as seen in the case involving driver Subrahmanyam’s murder.

Directing the party workers on their future course of action, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to constantly remind the public of the destruction caused by the previous government between 2019 and 2024, while simultaneously highlighting the positive initiatives and hard work of the current administration. Reaffirming his commitment to the party’s grassroots, Naidu declared that the dedicated workers are the true bosses of the TDP and promised to nurture every worker into a leader. He encouraged them to seize the opportunities provided by the party and work towards long-term governance to ensure sustained development for the state.
