A devastating road accident occurred on the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Shamshabad on Friday, resulting in the immediate death of six people. A speeding car crashed into a stationary lorry parked near Exit 16, leaving the vehicle completely mangled. The impact was so severe that the car got wedged under the rear of the truck, making rescue efforts difficult for the authorities.
Among the deceased are two women and two children, whose lives were cut short in the tragic collision. There were a total of seven passengers in the Maruti Suzuki WagonR (bearing registration number TS 23F 2298) at the time of the crash. The victims were reportedly traveling from Pedda Golconda towards Shamshabad when the accident took place.
One survivor, who was found in critical condition with a faint pulse, was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Police officials arrived at the scene shortly after the incident to initiate rescue operations and clear the wreckage. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact circumstances of the crash, although high speed is suspected to be the primary cause.
