Kakinada Shocked by Brutal Murder of APSP Constable in Broad Daylight

In a chilling incident that has sent shockwaves through Kakinada, an APSP (Andhra Pradesh Special Police) constable named Nageswara Rao was brutally murdered in the Gandhi Nagar area. The constable was walking on the road on Sunday night when unidentified assailants intercepted him and slit his throat with a sharp weapon. The attack was so sudden and violent that Nageswara Rao succumbed to his injuries on the spot, turning the busy locality into a scene of tragedy.

Upon receiving the information, police personnel and clues teams rushed to the spot to gather evidence and secure the area. Preliminary investigations suggest that the murder might be rooted in a family dispute. Law enforcement officials have indicated that the constable’s own brothers-in-law are suspected to be behind the heinous act. To confirm these leads and identify the culprits, the police are currently scanning CCTV footage from cameras installed across the Gandhi Nagar area.

The incident occurred amidst other significant criminal developments in the region, including progress in the MLC Anantha Babu’s driver murder case and a tragic drowning incident in Palnadu district. The local police have intensified their search operations to apprehend the suspects involved in the constable’s murder. This broad daylight attack in a populated area has raised concerns among residents regarding public safety and the audacity of the perpetrators.
