TDP Mahanadu 2026: ‘Stri Shakti’ Set as Theme for Annual Conclave; Politburo Approves 20 Strategic Resolutions

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) top leadership has finalized crucial decisions regarding the organization of its annual conclave, Mahanadu 2026. Scheduled to take place on May 27 and 28, this year’s convention will be celebrated around the core theme of “Stri Shakti” (Women Power). Demonstrating a commitment to energy conservation and environmental responsibility, party national president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu chaired the high-level Politburo meeting virtually via advanced digital platforms, setting a personal precedent for resource optimization.

The decision to anchor the historic event on the “Stri Shakti” theme reflects the TDP’s foundational heritage of pioneering women’s empowerment initiatives. During the virtual session, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the need to highlight milestones such as the introduction of women’s property rights, enhanced political representation under TDP administrations, and women’s active leadership in ongoing welfare programs. He directed party leaders to ensure that all mainstream speeches, digital presentations, and ideological showcases at the venue vividly mirror the spirit of women’s absolute empowerment.

The Politburo officially ratified a comprehensive agenda consisting of 20 political and administrative resolutions to be introduced and passed during the two-day event. The distribution of these resolutions includes 10 dedicated to Andhra Pradesh, 4 for Telangana, 1 for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, alongside 4 joint resolutions. A primary political draft will also focus extensively on regional development, industrial investments, and the implementation of transparent governance. Additionally, to foster grassroots enthusiasm, the party has urged its cadre to hoist the TDP flag atop residences across villages and pay floral tributes at local NTR statues.
