Praja Shanti Party chief KA Paul has strongly criticized Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan over his recent political comments regarding Telangana. Questioning the nature of his statements, Paul asked, “Is it fair for Pawan Kalyan to spark rifts between regions like this?” He added that political leaders should focus on fulfilling the promises made to the citizens rather than deviating from core issues and triggering unnecessary disputes.
Alongside his criticism, KA Paul extended an invitation to Pawan Kalyan, asking him to attend a massive public meeting that he is organizing in Houston, USA, on June 14. He suggested that participating in such global platforms would be a better alternative to engaging in divisive regional politics.
The backdrop to this dispute stems from a recent press conference where Pawan Kalyan confirmed that the Jana Sena Party would actively contest elections in Telangana and that he would soon tour the state. During the briefing, his rhetorical remark, “Is Telangana your personal property to stop me from entering?” had sparked a major political controversy in the region, drawing sharp reactions from various political quarters.
