The missing case of 23-year-old youth Sai Krishna, which has been causing a sensation in Vijayawada, has taken a dramatic turn after investigations led authorities to the ‘Swargapuri’ crematorium. Following severe allegations that Sai Krishna was murdered and his body was secretly cremated there to destroy evidence, a dedicated police team rushed to the location to conduct extensive searches and gather crucial forensic clues.
According to preliminary statements from the crematorium staff, unidentified bodies were brought to the facility on the night of May 23 and subsequently cremated on May 24. However, a verification of the official crematorium registers revealed that the recorded bodies belonged to individuals over 40 years of age. The complete absence of any official logs or documentation regarding a young man of Sai Krishna’s age has intensified suspicions of a cover-up.
In connection with this clandestine cremation, Vijayawada police have taken a man named Basha, who operates the electric incinerators at Swargapuri, into custody for rigorous interrogation. Circle Inspector (CI) Pavan Kishore has officially seized the suspect’s mobile phone and is thoroughly analyzing legal call data records (CDR) to trace his recent contacts and uncover potential co-conspirators in the case.
