A major alert has been issued for professionals commuting through the IT corridor in Hyderabad. Due to ongoing development works and pipeline installations, traffic authorities have announced the complete closure of a key arterial road in the Hitec City and Madhapur vicinity for the next three months. This disruption is expected to cause significant daily traffic bottlenecks for thousands of IT employees and regular commuters.
To mitigate congestion, the city traffic police have formulated a detailed diversion plan and suggested several alternative routes. These measures are designed to help motorists reach their destinations with minimal delays. Officials have advised those heading toward the IT corridor to utilize internal and alternate link roads rather than relying on the main thoroughfares. Additional traffic personnel will be deployed during peak hours to manage the diversions smoothly.
Commuters traveling toward Gachibowli and Hitec City are advised to bypass busy junctions and opt for newly developed alternative corridor routes. Vehicles coming via Raidurgam and Khajaguda toward the Financial District should strictly follow the designated diversion roads. Furthermore, traffic police suggest utilizing metro rail services or shared transport options during peak hours to save travel time and avoid gridlock.
