Gaurav Reddy’s Unbeaten Century Powers Nalgonda Knights to Victory

Anurag Nalgonda Knights climbed to second place in the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s Sreenidhi University TG20 standings after registering a commanding eight-wicket victory over Medak Falcons. Chasing a target of 181, opener Gaurav Reddy produced a sensational unbeaten 101 off just 47 balls, recording his maiden century of the tournament and guiding his team to victory with ease.

Earlier, Medak Falcons posted a competitive 180/4 after opting to bat first. Sai Varun Yerram remained unbeaten on 44, while Vikram Naik scored an unbeaten 48 as the pair stitched together a crucial 91-run partnership for the fifth wicket. Their late flourish helped the Falcons recover from early setbacks and post a challenging total.

The Knights made an explosive start to the chase through Gaurav Reddy and Jashwanth Mote, who added 83 runs for the opening wicket. Jashwanth contributed a quick 34 off 21 balls before departing, but Gaurav continued his aggressive batting to complete his century and finish the match comfortably. The knock also lifted him to third place in the tournament’s Orange Cap standings with 257 runs.
