Pawan Kalyan Undergoes Successful Shoulder Surgery, Doctors Say He Is Stable

Jana Sena Party chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has successfully undergone rotator cuff surgery on his right shoulder in Mumbai. The operation lasted for nearly three-and-a-half hours, and doctors confirmed that his condition is stable. He is currently recovering under medical supervision and has been advised to take adequate rest.

According to the medical team, Pawan Kalyan has been suffering from severe rotator cuff injuries in both shoulders. The injuries, which reportedly originated in 2016, worsened over the years and were further aggravated during his Porata Yatra and Varahi Yatra. Doctors also noted that frequent handshakes and people pulling his hands during public interactions added extra strain to his shoulders.

Medical examinations conducted in April this year revealed muscle tears and significant rotator cuff damage, prompting doctors to recommend surgery at the earliest. After completing his official responsibilities, Pawan Kalyan travelled to Mumbai for the procedure. Reports indicate that he is likely to undergo surgery on his left shoulder as well within the next two months.
