Karimnagar Mayor Kolagani Srinivas visited the Government School at Theegalaguttapally in the city’s Second Division to review the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls. During his visit, he assessed the progress of the programme and interacted with the officials overseeing the voter list revision.
The Mayor instructed Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to conduct the voter list revision process transparently and in strict compliance with the Election Commission’s guidelines. He stressed that every eligible voter should be included in the electoral rolls and urged officials to ensure that no eligible citizen is left out.
He also directed the officials to carefully scrutinize applications for the addition, deletion, and correction of voter details. Emphasizing accuracy and fairness, Mayor Srinivas called for the timely completion of the revision process to maintain an updated and error-free electoral roll.
