Airtel has reportedly removed its ₹549 individual postpaid plan from its portfolio, leaving the ₹449 plan as the entry-level option for new postpaid customers. The ₹549 plan is no longer visible on the company’s website, and reports suggest it has also been removed from the Airtel Thanks app. However, the telecom operator has not issued an official statement confirming the change.
With the removal of the ₹549 plan, customers who previously preferred that option will now have to choose between the ₹449 entry-level plan or upgrade to the higher-priced ₹699 individual postpaid plan if the ₹449 plan does not meet their requirements.
For customers looking to switch to an Airtel postpaid connection, the ₹449 plan (plus applicable GST) is now the most affordable individual option. Airtel also continues to offer a ₹699 family postpaid plan (plus GST), which includes one primary connection along with an additional add-on SIM for family members.
