The Telangana High Court has granted permission for the BRS Yuva Sangrama Sabha, scheduled to be held on Saturday (July 18), bringing fresh political momentum to the state. The event, being organized by the youth and student wings of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), received the court’s approval subject to certain conditions.
BRS leaders had applied for permission to conduct the public meeting on June 30. However, the police denied permission at the last minute, citing law and order concerns and intelligence inputs. Alleging that the Congress government deliberately tried to prevent the event, the BRS legal cell approached the Telangana High Court seeking relief.
After hearing arguments from both sides, the High Court allowed the meeting to go ahead with specific conditions. The court directed the organizers to conduct the event peacefully, avoid blocking roads, and ensure that no provocative speeches or activities take place during the gathering.
