Telangana Minister and Government Whip Adluri Laxman launched a sharp attack on BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) over the youth meeting held at Saroornagar Stadium in Hyderabad. He alleged that KTR had addressed paid participants instead of genuine unemployed youth and accused the previous BRS government of presiding over repeated question paper leak controversies during its ten-year rule. Laxman also alleged that irregularities in the recruitment process had severely affected the aspirations of job seekers.
The minister further accused KTR, former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, Harish Rao, and K. Kavitha of misleading unemployed youth during the BRS government’s tenure. He claimed that the previous administration failed to ensure a transparent recruitment process and questioned its commitment to addressing unemployment.
Defending the Congress government, Adluri Laxman said that after coming to power it had issued appointment letters to 67,700 candidates, calling it a record achievement. He also cited the distribution of appointment letters at LB Nagar Stadium as evidence of the government’s commitment to employment generation under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He further questioned whether BRS leaders had ever genuinely supported Osmania University students or addressed the concerns of unemployed youth during their tenure.
