The domestic stock market rally witnessed last week brought significant gains to India’s largest companies. The combined market capitalization of five out of the top 10 most valued companies listed on the Sensex increased by more than ₹1.54 lakh crore. During the week, the BSE Sensex rose by 582.06 points (0.75%), while the NSE Nifty gained 127.40 points (0.52%). Increased investor confidence and strong buying momentum led to a substantial rise in the market valuations of several leading companies.

TCS emerged as the biggest gainer in terms of market value, with its market capitalization increasing by ₹72,072.30 crore to surpass ₹8.20 lakh crore. The company’s June quarter results, which showed a 4.61% year-on-year increase in net profit, boosted investor confidence and attracted strong buying support for TCS shares.
