TTD Vigilance and Security personnel acted promptly and safely returned a bag containing gold ornaments that was forgotten at the Alipiri security checkpoint in Tirumala. The incident occurred around 11:35 a.m. on Monday during routine security checks at Alipiri, the entry point for devotees walking to Tirumala.
A devotee named Mahesh, who hails from Hyderabad, accidentally left his bag at the checkpoint while undergoing security screening and proceeded ahead without noticing it. TTD vigilance staff on duty immediately became alert, secured the unattended bag, and kept it safely in their custody.
Upon inspecting the bag, officials found valuable gold ornaments weighing approximately 100 grams. They then reviewed CCTV footage from the Alipiri area and identified the owner as the Hyderabad-based devotee. After verification, the bag was safely handed over to Mahesh.
