TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud Condemns Arrest of Rahul Gandhi and Opposition Leaders

TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud strongly condemned the arrest and detention of senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, and other opposition leaders by the Central Government. He alleged that the BJP government’s actions reflected the height of authoritarianism and dictatorial governance.

Protesting what he described as illegal arrests, Mahesh Kumar Goud called for a ‘Chalo Raj Bhavan’ (Lok Bhavan) program to be held tomorrow morning. He urged party workers and supporters to participate in large numbers and demonstrate against the government’s actions.

Mahesh Goud recalled that opposition leaders had staged a democratic protest in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence, demanding a comprehensive discussion in Parliament on the NEET examination paper leak issue and an investigation into corruption allegations. He criticized the BJP government, alleging that it resorted to arrests because it was unable to answer the opposition’s questions and feared an impartial inquiry.
