The Andhra Pradesh government has made elaborate security arrangements for the inauguration of the Bhogapuram International Airport. With Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to attend the event, nearly 7,000 police personnel have been deployed across the airport and surrounding areas. The entire region has been divided into 13 major zones and further into 89 sectors, with 80 to 100 police personnel assigned to each sector. Around 30 IPS officers are supervising the overall security arrangements.

Officials at the ranks of DGP, ADGP, IG, DIG, SP, ASP and DSP are directly coordinating the security measures. Special teams have been deployed at the public meeting venue, airport zone, VIP routes and parking areas to maintain continuous surveillance. Authorities are taking extensive precautions to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the Prime Minister’s visit and the inauguration ceremony.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is also scheduled to arrive in Bhogapuram on Friday. He will leave Mangalagiri for Gannavaram Airport at around 5 PM and proceed to the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport in Bhogapuram. On Saturday morning, Pawan Kalyan is expected to receive Prime Minister Modi along with the Governor and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu before attending the airport inauguration. He will leave for Hyderabad after the Prime Minister’s official engagements conclude.
