Actress Shakeela has revealed how a simple habit of excessive mobile phone use turned into a serious health problem. She said spending hours on her phone while lying in an improper posture, playing games, and watching videos eventually caused severe neck issues. The problem reportedly required her to undergo neck surgery costing around ₹3 lakh, prompting her to warn fans about the risks of prolonged phone use.
After returning home from the hospital following the surgery, Shakeela shared a video wearing a neck collar and opened up about her experience. She explained that she would often lie on one side for hours while playing games on her phone and watching YouTube videos and Instagram Reels. She said she would get up only occasionally for tea or coffee before returning to the same routine.
Shakeela urged people to be more careful about their mobile phone habits and posture. Her experience highlights how spending long hours on a smartphone in an unhealthy position can potentially lead to serious neck and posture-related problems. She advised her followers to avoid excessive screen time, maintain a proper sitting or lying position, and take regular breaks while using their phones.
