Veteran actress ‘Sowcar’ Janaki, who left an indelible mark on Indian cinema with her distinctive performances, passed away at the age of 94 while undergoing treatment at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai. Her death marks the end of a remarkable era in South Indian cinema.
