Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu urged Omar Bin Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy & Remote Work Applications to consider establishing a joint AI Research & Development (R&D) Centre in Hyderabad.
The Minister had a special meeting with Omar Bin Sultan Al Olama on Thursday in Dubai.
He highlighted Telangana’s ambitious vision to emerge as the AI Capital of the World through projects such as AI City, AI University, and AI Innovation Hub.
During the meeting, the Minister also showcased India’s first AI-driven Telangana Data Exchange (TGDeX) and its transformative impact across healthcare, education, agriculture, and governance.
