A disturbing incident occurred at Sevadasnagar in Jannaram mandal headquarters of Telangana’s Mancherial district, where a 60-year-old farmer, Jadav Shankar Naik, was allegedly murdered by his own son on Saturday. The police reported that the victim was killed by his son, Noorsingh, following a family dispute that arose when the father refused to give him money to buy liquor.
According to the police, Noorsingh, who is unemployed and addicted to alcohol, attacked his father with a wooden pestle, severely injuring his head. Neighbours, upon discovering Shankar Naik lying in a pool of blood, immediately alerted his daughter, Jyothi. Jyothi subsequently filed a complaint with the police regarding the brutal murder of her father.
The investigation revealed that the suspect, Noorsingh, had a history of personal issues; his mother had passed away due to an illness, and his wife had left him a few years prior due to harassment. The police have since registered a murder case against Noorsingh, and a thorough investigation into the incident is currently underway.
