Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy conducted a review of the progress of the new Osmania Hospital building construction and issued key directives to the officials. He explicitly instructed them to complete the new hospital building within two years. Additionally, he directed officials to start planning immediately to procure state-of-the-art medical equipment that will be required for the new hospital.
The Chief Minister advised the engineering officials to design the rooms, labs, and other structural works to accommodate the advanced equipment. To ensure the construction work progresses quickly, he suggested forming a Coordination Committee consisting of officials from the Health Department, Police, GHMC, R&B, and Electricity departments. He mandated that this committee should conduct site visits once every ten days.
CM Revanth Reddy also directed that roads be constructed around the building site to ensure that the construction work does not cause any inconvenience to the locals. Following the Chief Minister’s orders, the construction work of the new Osmania Hospital is expected to gain significant momentum.
