On Friday, February 6, 2026, the makers officially announced that the movie will have a grand worldwide release on April 3, 2026, perfectly timed for the summer season. A new poster was unveiled alongside the announcement, showing a serious Sangeeth Shobhan searching through the dark with a torch, sparking curiosity about the film’s plot.
Following the national acclaim and success of her previous production Committee Kurrollu, Niharika is continuing her streak of backing unique content. ‘Rakasa’ marks the directorial debut of Manasa Sharma, who aims to blend high-energy entertainment with a compelling narrative.
