Madanapalle Horror: CM Chandrababu Naidu Assures Justice for 7-Year-Old Victim

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep shock and sorrow over the brutal murder of a seven-year-old girl in Madanapalle, Annamayya district. In a personal phone call to the grieving parents, the Chief Minister offered his condolences and provided a firm assurance that the perpetrator would not be spared. He emphasized that the government would ensure the strictest possible punishment for those responsible for this heinous act, which has sparked widespread outrage across the state.

The tragic incident came to light after the young girl, who had been missing for three days, was found dead in a neighbor’s house. Preliminary police investigations suggest that the child was sexually assaulted before being murdered. The suspect, identified as Kulavardhan, has been taken into custody. As news of the discovery spread, local residents and family members staged a massive protest on the Madanapalle-Kadiri bypass road, demanding that the accused be handed over to them, leading to significant tension and traffic disruptions in the area.

Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha also intervened, speaking with the family to reassure them of swift legal action. She confirmed that a case under the POCSO Act has been registered and stated that the government would work to ensure the accused is denied bail and faces a speedy trial. Following these high-level assurances from the Chief Minister and Home Minister, the family members eventually relented, allowing the police to move the body for a post-mortem examination.
