Ajit Pawar Death Case: Rohit Pawar Writes to PM Modi Seeking Resignation of Aviation Minister

The tragic death of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in a plane crash has ignited a massive political controversy. Rohit Pawar, an MLA from the NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), has written a strongly-worded letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging a deep-rooted conspiracy behind the incident. He has demanded the immediate resignation of Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, arguing that a transparent investigation is impossible while the Minister remains in office. Rohit Pawar expressed concerns over potential links between the aviation company involved and the ruling political parties, suggesting that high-level influence could compromise the probe.

In his letter, Rohit Pawar specifically targeted VSR Ventures Private Limited, the company that operated the ill-fated Learjet 45XR. He raised serious questions regarding the track record of the pilot, Captain Sumit Kapoor, noting that a pilot who had previously faced a three-year suspension for alcohol consumption was assigned to such a high-profile flight. He further alleged that officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) might be protecting the firm. Due to these factors, he has urged for an investigation involving not just domestic agencies, but international experts to ensure complete impartiality.

Expressing doubt over the effectiveness of a routine inquiry, Rohit Pawar appealed to PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to personally intervene. He hinted at two possible motives behind the “conspiracy”: a political attempt to eliminate a powerful rival or a business-related cover-up to hide security lapses. As the letter triggers intense debate across Maharashtra and Delhi, all eyes are now on how the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Civil Aviation will respond to these explosive allegations.
