Telangana Government Unveils 99-Day Action Plan: Cabinet Sub-Committee Formed to Fast-Track Development

The Telangana state government has officially constituted a high-level Cabinet Sub-Committee to design and oversee a strategic 99-day action plan. Chaired by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, the committee is tasked with accelerating welfare and development projects across all state departments. Key members include ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy. The initiative aims to shift government focus from “file to field,” ensuring measurable outcomes and time-bound delivery of services to the citizens.

The implementation of this structured plan is scheduled to run from March 2 to June 9, 2026. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao has directed all Special Chief Secretaries and Department Heads to prepare concrete, measurable agendas immediately. To kickstart the process, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will chair a comprehensive review meeting with Secretaries on February 28, followed by a high-profile District Collectors’ Conference on March 1. The primary objective is to ensure that the administrative machinery moves with speed and clarity during this three-month window.

Priority sectors for this 99-day push include Rural Development, Health, Education, Agriculture, and Housing. Special emphasis will be placed on sanitation drives, rural infrastructure, and making completed government buildings ready for inauguration. The government intends to use this period to streamline welfare delivery and ensure that developmental works reach the grassroots level. This move is seen as a major administrative push by the Revanth Reddy government to demonstrate governance efficiency and clear pending projects across the state.
