Popular actress Hansika Motwani has officially ended her marriage with businessman Sohail Kathuria. The Bandra Family Court in Mumbai granted the divorce, putting an end to months of speculation regarding the couple’s separation. The news gained traction after Hansika deleted her wedding photographs from social media, signaling deep-seated differences between the two.
The couple tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Rajasthan in December 2022. However, reports of friction surfaced within a year and a half, and the couple has reportedly been living separately since July 2024. Realizing that a reconciliation was not possible, Hansika and Sohail filed for divorce by mutual consent. Notably, this was Sohail Kathuria’s second marriage, having previously been married to Rinky Bajaj.
Hansika, who captured the hearts of the Telugu audience with her debut in Desamuduru, went on to become a top star in both Tollywood and Kollywood. Having acted in over 50 films across multiple languages, she is now expected to shift her complete focus back to her acting career.
