As per the government order, the increased ticket rates will be applicable for the first ten days of the film’s release, from March 19 to March 28. Single-screen theaters have been permitted to increase prices by ₹100, while multiplexes can hike rates by ₹125 (including GST). Furthermore, the government has granted permission to screen five shows per day, providing a significant advantage for the movie to maximize its box office collections during the opening week.
In addition to the regular price hike, the government has cleared the path for early morning benefit shows on the release day. On March 19, special shows can be screened between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM, with the ticket price fixed at ₹500 (inclusive of GST). While many big-budget films opt for paid premieres on the night before release, it is reported that the team chose early morning shows this time to avoid a clash with other movie previews scheduled for March 18.
Directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film features Sreeleela and Sreeleela as the female leads. Given the blockbuster track record of the Pawan Kalyan-Harish Shankar duo from ‘Gabbar Singh’, expectations are sky-high. This supportive move by the AP government regarding ticket pricing and additional screenings is expected to help the film shatter opening day records.
