Telangana SSC Exams 2026: Over 5 Lakh Students Set to Appear; Strict ‘No Mobile’ Rule and Timings Announced!

To ensure a smooth and transparent examination process, the education department has enforced a rigorous set of guidelines. Examination centers have been declared “No Cell Phone Zones,” strictly prohibiting mobile devices for students, invigilators, and even visiting squad officers. The government has taken a hard stance on malpractice, warning that any staff member involved in paper leakages or irregularities will face permanent dismissal from service. Students are advised to utilize the model OMR sheets and answer formats available on the official website to familiarize themselves with the exam pattern beforehand.

Punctuality is of the essence this year, as the board has implemented a strict entry policy. While exams are scheduled to begin in the morning, students will be allowed only a five-minute grace period; anyone arriving after 9:35 AM will be strictly barred from entering the examination hall. Authorities strongly recommend that candidates reach their respective centers at least one hour before the start time to avoid last-minute hurdles and ensure a stress-free entry.

The examination schedule stretches until April 16, 2026, marking a significant month-long academic event for the state. Out of the total centers, 1,582 are located in government schools, while 1,094 are in private institutions, all monitored closely to maintain the sanctity of the boards. With the summer heat beginning to rise, local authorities have also been directed to ensure basic amenities like drinking water and proper ventilation are available at all centers to support the students’ well-being during the exams.
