The missing case of a Hyderabad-based BTech student took a tragic turn after his body was recovered from a well. The victim, identified as Rahul, was a native of Ailapur village in the Korutla mandal of Jagtial district. He was pursuing his engineering degree at Maturi Venkata Subba Rao (MVSR) Engineering College in Saidabad, Hyderabad. The young student had initially left his residence informing his family that he was heading out for an internship opportunity, but never returned.
According to preliminary police investigations, Rahul later informed his family that he was going on a tour and boarded the Sabari Express from the Kacheguda Railway Station. However, he deboarded the train midway at Singarayakonda in Andhra Pradesh. It is suspected that he subsequently ended his life by jumping into a well located near the railway station area. After a search spanning several days, his body was spotted in the well and retrieved by local authorities. The body was shifted to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination.
