Madhavi Latha Counter to Rahul: BJP Leader Slams Actor Rahul Ramakrishna Over Pawan Kalyan Tweets

The continuous sequence of tweets posted by Tollywood actor Rahul Ramakrishna targeting Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has triggered a massive storm across social media platforms. Rahul, claiming to voice his concerns as an ordinary admirer, questioned the allocation and accountability of Panchayat Raj funds while urging the leader to focus less on pageantry. While Pawan Kalyan’s loyal political base, the Janasainiks, have already responded to the remarks aggressively, actress and BJP leader Madhavi Latha has formally entered the controversy, delivering a fiercely critical counter-attack against the actor’s political stance.

Madhavi Latha sharply criticized Rahul Ramakrishna’s underlying narrative, drawing parallels between his current rhetoric and the historical “Azad Kashmir” separatist ideology. She asserted that his statements carry a divisive undertone regarding regional identities, warning that advocating for the exclusion of individuals from Andhra Pradesh or other communities like Marwaris from Telangana is deeply problematic. Reminding him that Telangana is an indissoluble part of India, she challenged the actor to demonstrate equal courage by questioning the incumbent Panchayat Raj administration in his home state of Telangana regarding their public welfare achievements over the past two years instead of targeting AP ministers.

Fiercely defending Pawan Kalyan, Madhavi Latha hailed the Deputy Chief Minister as a selfless, incorruptible leader and described him as a rare gem discovered by the people of Andhra Pradesh. She emphasized that he functions with utmost integrity within constitutional parameters and that his constituency and state are fully cognizant of his impactful governance. Mocking the actor’s selective criticism, she claimed that public figures often target Pawan Kalyan simply because he is an accessible and decent leader, whereas most lack the courage to question actual corrupt politicians. She concluded by advising Rahul Ramakrishna to redirect his inquiries toward local ministers in his own state for genuine transparency.
