Shocking Twist in Pune Businessman’s Death: Did Fiancee Push Him Into the Valley?

The mystery surrounding the tragic death of young Pune businessman Ketan Vishal Agarwal (26) at Lohagad Fort has taken a sensational turn. Initially reported as a fatal accident where Ketan slipped and fell into a 400-foot-deep valley due to heavy winds while taking photos of his fiancee, police have now uncovered a sinister plot. Investigators have converted the accidental death report into a murder case, revealing that the fiancee allegedly conspired with her friend to push Ketan off the cliff.

Ketan Agarwal, a resident of Gahunje near Pune, was a director in his family’s real estate firm and was scheduled to marry in a grand ceremony in Udaipur, Rajasthan, this November. The tragedy unfolded on June 18 when Ketan, along with his fiancee and a group of friends, went trekking to Lohagad Fort to celebrate her birthday on June 19. Following the incident, the fiancee claimed that a sudden gust of wind caused Ketan to lose his balance while photographing her, but the Lonavala Rural Police grew suspicious due to major contradictions in her statements during interrogation.

A deeper investigation exposed that the fiancee and her close male friend intentionally led Ketan to the edge of the cliff and pushed him to his death before staging it as an accident. On Tuesday, the police officially took the fiancee and her accomplice into custody. Additionally, six other friends who were present at the scene are being detained and questioned to determine their level of involvement, leaving the local community in deep shock as the motive continues to be investigated.
