Chandrababu Alleges YSRCP Funding Social Media Smear Campaign

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday alleged that leaders of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) were funding a coordinated social media campaign to target the TDP-led coalition government. Speaking to reporters during his visit to Kuppam, he claimed that certain online platforms were receiving financial support from YSRCP leaders to spread criticism against him and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.

The Chief Minister accused the YSRCP of encouraging factional politics, violence, and misinformation while attempting to obstruct the coalition government’s welfare and development initiatives. He alleged that the previous YSRCP administration created controversies around industrial projects, drove away investors, and misused valuable land and mineral resources. Chandrababu also claimed that the opposition was falsely taking credit for projects initiated by the present government.

Highlighting the state’s development agenda, Chandrababu said Kuppam was witnessing rapid industrial growth with improvements in roads, communication, and infrastructure. He announced that the government was promoting investments in sectors such as quantum technology, semiconductors, renewable energy, and steel manufacturing, adding that the quantum computing centre in Amaravati would begin operations by December and that major companies, including ArcelorMittal and JSW, were establishing projects in Andhra Pradesh.
