The Khammam District Congress Committee (DCC) on Tuesday established a dedicated War Room to coordinate and monitor the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls across the district. The facility was inaugurated by DCC president Nuthi Satyanarayana Goud following directions from Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud.
Speaking to the media, Satyanarayana Goud said the War Room was created to strengthen coordination with Booth Level Agents (BLAs) and ensure that every eligible voter is included in the electoral rolls. He said the district Congress leadership would remain in constant contact with BLAs, providing guidance and support to help carry out the voter verification process effectively.
The initiative is aimed at closely monitoring the progress of the SIR exercise, resolving field-level issues faced by party workers, and ensuring that no eligible voter is left out during the revision process. Several Congress leaders and office-bearers attended the inauguration of the War Room.
