Nizamabad MP Arvind Dharmapuri will dedicate the newly developed Janakampet Goods Shed to the nation on Thursday. Constructed by the Hyderabad Division of South Central Railway at a cost of ₹9 crore, the facility has been established to strengthen freight transportation infrastructure and improve goods handling services in the Nizamabad region.
The new goods shed is expected to benefit local traders, businesses, and freight users by enhancing cargo movement and providing improved facilities for loading and unloading goods. South Central Railway said the project is part of its efforts to expand freight operations and support regional economic development through better railway infrastructure.
The Janakampet Goods Shed has been designed to handle a larger number of freight trains and accommodate additional categories of cargo in the future. Legislative Council members B.
