The Golden Chariot Festival (Swarna Rathotsavam) was celebrated with great devotion at the Srisailam Temple on the occasion of Arudra Nakshatram. Trust Board Chairman Pothukunta Ramesh Naidu, Executive Officer Srinivasa Rao and his spouse, Trust Board members, temple priests, and officials participated in the grand religious event.
As part of the Arudrotsavam celebrations, the presiding deities were offered Mahanyasa Purvaka Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam, Annabhishekam, and other special rituals during the early hours of the day. The ceremonies were conducted in accordance with traditional temple customs.
Following the special rituals, the Swarna Rathotsavam was held in a grand manner, with devotees witnessing the sacred procession of the deities. The festival was marked by religious fervour and attracted a large number of devotees to the temple.
