A disturbing incident has come to light under the jurisdiction of the KPHB police station in Hyderabad. Authorities have arrested a man identified as Rehan, a native of Uttar Pradesh, on charges of sexually assaulting a minor girl who is currently studying in the seventh grade. The horrific nature of the crime has caused significant outrage and concern among local residents.
According to the police, the accused worked as a fruit vendor near the victim’s residence, which he used as an opportunity to strike up an acquaintance with the young girl. Taking advantage of this familiarity, he deliberately targeted her. In May, Rehan lured the minor to his house under the pretext of giving her chocolates and biscuits, where he subsequently committed the crime.
Following the assault, the accused threatened the young girl with severe consequences if she revealed the incident to anyone. Terrified by his strict warnings, the traumatized victim remained silent and kept the dreadful ordeal a secret from her family for several months before the truth finally emerged.
